3 Casting Directors. 3 Days of 6-8 hrs masterclass, training. Networking during the Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival (28.10.-4.11.) CONTENT: Every day a new class with a new Casting Director. (10-13 participants/class). PREPARATION: You will receive scenes to prepare 7-10 days in advance. For the self taping class you'll need to upload your scene beforehand (via www.filmmakers.eu) SCHEDULE: Oct 31st- Arrival day Nov 1 - Day 1 10:00-11:00 - Opening Circle 11:30-18:00 - Circle station 1 incl. lunch break Nov 2 - Day 2 10:00-18:00 - Circle station 2 incl. lunch break Nov 3 - Day 3 10:00-18:00 - Circle station 3 incl. lunch break 17:30-18:00 - Closing Circle (everyone) with final Q & A Nov 4 - Departure day (+Closing Night of the Film Festival) CLASS FEE: 1095,-€ / incl. VAT. LOCATION: Seminar will take place at Espai Buit, Placa Drassana 5, La Lonja, Palma historical center ACCOMMODATION: Everyone accommodates themselves at their own budet. We have deals with hostels and hotels close to the seminar location. Count with a budget of 90€-140€ per night / room. We can pair you up for airbnb´s and twin room options. FOOD: We work in the same house than one of the best vegan / gluten free restaurants of Palma. A list with more restaurant options will be handed out. And of course we´ll spend the last evening together eating out. AIRPORT-PALMA: Only a 13 mins drive to the city Center. Taxi: around 20€. Bus around 3€. OPTIONAL: FILM FESTIVAL EVOLUTION Accreditation - please see on their website (usually selling tickets in early October; count with around 100€) We recommend to arrive in Palma on the 28.10.: Opening Night Gala & Film are accessible with your accreditation pass HEADSHOTS or ABOUT ME VIDEO created by Marino (regular fee: 900€ / Special Circle fee: 650€) OPTIONAL: Systemic Counseling by Ex-Producer Nadja Botscheff. Analyzing your genogram and all the little career obstacles which might have their roots in your family system and inner programmings which are not yours. Application & Policies
APPLICATION Please understand it will take us a few days to confirm your application. We need to check if this event suits your profile, education and experience. Also we try to have a fair balance of languages, cultural backgrounds, gender etc. in our groups, so IF your application would get declined, it would have nothing to do with your value of talent or as a person. We will get back to you shortly. Thank you for your understanding and please wait with your flight booking. WHAT´s NEXT? Once you get accepted, you will be sent an email with a link to do a pre-payment / full payment. You then my book your flight. CANCELLATION POLICY OPTION 1) We have to cancel If the workshop production needs to be cancelled due to “force majeure” / higher acts of nature, it will be postponed to another date. Same teachers (if available, otherwise we will provide teachers of the same "level" and countries), same or similar place, same amount of days. OPTION 2) You have to cancel If YOU need to cancel for any reason you will get a voucher of the event minus the application fee (basically we keep the application fee for our administrative work & losses). MONEY BACK? We generally do not have a money back policy but you will receive a voucher for the amount you had paid. The I.AM vouchers you can activate at any time for other workshops (not Casting Circles) so that you don't lose your money. (Casting Circles has its own application process. Once accepted, you may also use the money with a Casting Circle; On the other hand, a voucher gives you not the right to be accepted at a Casting Circle). If you do not get accepted, you will get a full refund. CANCELLING YOUR ACCOMMODATION If the class comes in package with the accommodation, you might lose the accommodation expenses if we cannot find anyone else taking it. We will do our best but cannot guarantee your money back as this is a third party (hotel/finca...) we had to reserved for you. If you have you have booked your accommodation with the hotel directly, their terms and conditions are valid.
