Summer is not over: 30 degrees in September still in Mallorca and we are getting ready for the time after the strikes: We need to move, be fluid, remain flexible and playful. We all now how it feels when getting a casting call. We walk in, maybe a bit rigid and self aware, with a text in our head and an idea we wanna offer. But now: the director has a different idea than you. The casting director wants to try "something else". What to offer? How to adapt? BE LIKE WATER, MY FRIEND! Create something new out of nothing. Cold read like a pro if they surprise you. Improvise on a high professional level. Surprise them back. And learn how to let not the pressure but the playfulness and some concrete character impulses take over. OUT-OF-COMFORT-ZONE TRAINING FOR REACHING THE NEXT LEVEL OF AUDITIONING & COLD READING SKILLS Meet Karimah and Eva, 2 of the most renowned Casting Directors of the German speaking Film industry (internationally working). Karimah (expert in cold reads through the work with Dominik Graf) will be working with you on your cold readings and auditions. And Eva will consult you one to one with your material and your next steps in your career. PLUS get to meet or deepen the work with Giles, one of the top coaches for actors on set worldwide. Through his work with the unique Yat/Laban system, Giles will give you access to your authentic impulses, and to your fluidity + joy in your future casting and film situations. Spend 6 days and 7 nights in a stunning countryside house with pool and garden. 5,5 days class. Beach afternoon. Class fee: 1090€ incl. shuttles Accommodation options: Triple room: 40€ / person / night (280€ for the week) Twin room: 60€ / person / night (420€ for the week) Single room: 100€ / person / night (700€ for the week) Food: Our wonderful chef of Ayurvedic cuisine is preparing stunning buffets with healthy food with many vegan/ veggie / gluten free options as well some fish or meat. 50€ per day (20€ per meal, 10€ of breakfast) or 300€ week. Tea, coffee and water bottles are included. Class language is English. Casting can be in German or English. Texts will be sent a few days prior to the event. Schedule: 9.9. Application & Policies

APPLICATION Please understand it will take us a few days to confirm your application. We need to check if this event suits your profile, education and experience. Also we try to have a fair balance of languages, cultural backgrounds, gender etc. in our groups, so IF your application would get declined, it would have nothing to do with your value of talent or as a person. It is simply our goal to give all countries, cultures, languages and gender an equal chance. We will get back to you shortly. Thank you for your understanding. WHAT´s NEXT? Once you get accepted, you will be sent a link to do a prepayment / full payment. CANCELLATION POLICY OPTION 1) We have to cancel If the workshop production needs to be cancelled due to “force majeure” / higher acts of nature, it will be postponed to another date. Same teachers (if available, otherwise we will provide teachers of the same "level" and countries), same or similar place, same amount of days. OPTION 2) You have to cancel If YOU need to cancel for any other reason (jobs, grandmothers birthday etc), you will get a voucher of the event minus the application fee (basically we keep the application fee for our administrative work & losses). MONEY BACK? We generally do not have a money back policy but you will receive a voucher for the amount you had paid. The I.AM vouchers you can activate at any time for other workshops (not Casting Circles) so that you don't lose your money. (Casting Circles has its own application process. Once accepted, you may also use the money with a Casting Circle; On the other hand, a voucher gives you not the right to be accepted at a Casting Circle) You can chose any other event (Casting Circles if you are accepted) for it if your application got accepted for it. If you do not get accepted, you will get a full refund. CANCELLING YOUR ACCOMMODATION If the class comes in package with the accommodation, you might lose the accommodation expenses if we cannot find anyone else taking it. We will do our best but cannot guarantee your money back as this is a third party (hotel/finca...) we had to reserved for you. If you have you have booked your accommodation with the hotel directly, their terms and conditions are valid.
